Seven years later, Eleanor relocated to Edinburgh to work as Head of European Sales and Marketing at Cox & Kings India and then, after three years, joined Dream Escape, a high-end incoming Destination Management Company for Scotland, as Head of Marketing.

Through work and for pleasure, Eleanor has been lucky enough to have travelled extensively throughout Sri Lanka and across Asia. She continues to visit Sri Lanka once or twice most years, often leading groups of Tour Operators and Travel Agents.
Emma is an experienced travel designer and journalist who first came to Sri Lanka in 2003 after a year spent writing her way around the world. She has travelled Sri Lanka extensively and written many features for a variety of UK publications including Guardian Travel, The Telegraph and Condé Nast Traveller. Emma is also the author of Culture Smart! Sri Lanka and contributor to many Rough Guides titles including Sri Lanka, Southeast Asia, India and Cambodia.
In recent years, and since moving back to the UK, Emma launched her own travel company and creates private bespoke holidays for her clients. Unsurprisingly, Sri Lanka is one of her favourite destinations and she loves nothing more than designing imaginative experiential holidays to Sri Lanka.
For The Sri Lanka Collection, Emma shares her way with words and her Sri Lankan expertise.
