Designed by Sri Lanka’s best-loved architect – the late Geoffrey Bawa – this recently upgraded private villa in Dickwella has superb sea views and many places for enjoying them; including a double height lounge, garden lookouts and a recently upgraded pool terrace located at the very edge of the hillside (with amazing panoramic views).
Privacy and abundant space are guaranteed at this villa, and the gardens feature an expansive lawn that descends to the beach. The villa is located a short drive from Dickwella’s wide sandy beach and Hiriketiya’s buzzy horseshoe-shaped bay, both popular destinations for surfing and eating out. Having said that, the beach below Claughton House is a lovely spot for quiet seasonal swimming.
