Tea & Tranquility

14 days/13 nights

This is a gentle journey for those who love tea, views, walks, picnicking, waterfalls and relaxation. Sri Lanka’s Hill Country is a sublime destination for slow travel, for learning about Sri Lanka’s historic tea industry, and for exploring tea plantation trails. Our hotels in the hills are blissfully remote and relaxing, and the cooler, fresher air promises to rejuvenate the soul. Continuing in the tea theme, the final four nights will be spent at Kahanda Kanda, an all-suite hotel 15-minutes inland from Galle’s beaches that sits within a private 12-acre tea estate.

*Since the journey between the airport and Camellia Hills is around a 4 to 5 hour drive, you may wish to include a first night’s stay at Wallawwa (near the airport). And, if your clients prefer a beach stay, they could opt for KK Beach and visit Kahanda Kanda from there.

  • Picturesque picnics, relaxing lake-view walks and serenity at Camellia Hills
  • Enjoying more tea country trails and sublime views from two other hill country bungalows
  • Taking the hill country train, and photographing the Nine Arches Bridge
  • Relaxing at the very indulgent Kahanda Kanda, and seeing the sights of Galle
  • Or stay a few footsteps from the sand at oceanfront KK Beach
