Camellia Hills Bungalow – Castlereagh Reservoir, near Dickoya

Groups and families looking for a private, view-blessed location in Sri Lanka’s spectacular Hill Country will fall in love with five-bedroom Camellia Hills. Surrounded by acres of tea, and looking down onto the stunning Castlereagh Reservoir from its verdant hillside perch this contemporary tea planters-style bungalow is tranquil, comfortable and exclusive. The cosy bedrooms all share in the views as do the open plan living and dining areas, which also focus on a statement two-sided fireplace.

The bungalow is located at an altitude of around 1200-metres above sea level, and the climate is much fresher than Sri Lanka’s coastal areas. Days tend to be warm whilst evenings, and wet weather days, can be a little chilly. This cooler weather makes this a superb place to get out and about, and there are many trails through tea estates of varying lengths that groups can all enjoy together. Scenic picnics can be arranged too, and other activities include lake boat trips and tea factory tours.

A team of butlers looks after guests and the bungalow also has its own private chef. Guests can expect to enjoy a very high level of personalised service. Other facilities include books, games and a lush garden with a 10-metre swimming pool.

Rooms in the villa may be booked individually. Please see here for more details.
